Yesterday I had a photoshoot on the beach with Jane Hakanson (
[link]), which went rather well. I finaly got the sea weed and sand out of my hair, so I can't complain.
We did a digital photography set, then Janey took a few b&w shots with a camera that I can't even hold properly, let alone work.
After I had come to the conclusion that I had been battered about on the rocks enough for one day, I took out my camera and shot the 'Little Janey and the Sea' set, which I submitted last night. It seems to have gained quite a nice response, so I'm assuming that my skill as a photographer could be improving. I hope so, because I'm taking test shots for some one next Monday afternoon.
I have a few more typical, cliche beach photos to submit later on; sea weed and shells on the sand. I know every one is sick of them, but I really liked the colours.
Perhaps that's what I'm all about with photographs; the colours. Even if I don't particulary fancy the subject matter, or if the pic is a bit blurry, as long as the colours speak to me, it's all good.
